Job 22:23-30
If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.
Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.
Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defense, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.
For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.
Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.
Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.
He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands.
May 27th of last year was the day that we received my husband’s test results which indicated serious illness and took us on a new path in dealing with the ramifications of that. I am wholly grateful to the Lord for granting my husband another year of life in which he has walked faithfully with the Lord. I admire his fervency for the Lord and his desire not to promote himself, but to promote what is in the scriptures with enthusiasm. I am blessed to continually be taught the Word through my husband’s words, counsel, and life. I also am grateful that he will obey when it is the hardest thing in the world to do.
May the Lord grant to my husband more years of serving the Lord whole heartedly. And may I walk forward embracing Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
