Waiting for Mom in the back seat.  Fortunately, Dad was there to entertain.

Matthew is busy reading through a General Science textbook this year, and here he is busily writing down the results of one of his experiments (something to do with the chemical reaction of baking soda and vinegar, which blew up the balloon).  Kimmy decided to blow up a balloon the old-fashioned way.

Today Kimmy Joy is four years old.  She had a wonderful day of celebration.

What makes this birthday interesting is that everyone else in the family is down sick in varying degrees except–Kimmy Joy.  Fortunately, she did not notice a reduction in enthusiasm by the rest of the family.

The children in my home begin their music education early in life.   The Bible does command us to sing and praise the Lord with voice and instruments, and I take that seriously; so my home is constantly filled with music as my family and I train, learn, and refine our musical skills; all with the intent to offer to the Lord the best musical sacrifice we can.

Here is a picture of Kimmy Joy (age three) playing the piano and singing.  She can’t actually play the piano yet, but she is fast developing a love for music and singing.

What is it about little children and stuffed animals?  My house is exploding with both, particularly the stuffed kind.
